This is a class blog for interpersonal communications and English 1.

Hello and Welcome! My name is Carolyn Alm, and I will be your instructor for this course. Please call me Carolyn. I think we have an exciting adventure ahead of us!

I have had some students in the past who have suffered from English grammar anxiety. Let me reassure all of you about this class. I have taught similar face-to-face classes many times, and I promise you that communicating effectively helps you in all areas of your life—not just in English classes. My goal is to help you produce a well written and highly polished document that you can submit for your SLO. If you encounter any road blocks, I am certain that we can quickly remove them effortlessly and effectively. I have not only been teaching this subject, but also putting it into practice as a technical writer for more that 25 years.
